CENTRO SAI HISPANO: 0. The third day of our trip dawned at 5: 4. HM. I went and finished with my ablutions and bath and started to type down all the happenings of the past day. We had discovered that we could use the bathrooms on the other floors as well.
El caso de los Mbya-Guaran. CINE ARG ENT INO Un poco de historia. 1939), cantor de una Argentina llena de miseria, y Leopoldo. The feeding frenzy of the past day had my tummy full and so I skipped breakfast. We all went into Swami’s residence, to the third floor and waited there for Him to arrive. Here too I continued typing away at the laptop. For a while I was in the elders’ waiting room but once AIP walked into the room, I ran out. They were discussing about the evening’s programme at the Parliament. GV was also a bit nervous about his talk and I knew that he was desperate to deliver it. He had prepared like never before for the last few weeks! And CG too had prepared along with him! GV got the idea of all the students singing Aha Raha Tava at the end of the session. It was 1. 0: 4. 0am. Swami arrived from His room and all the elders told Him about the schedule for the morning. Swami told GV while passing by him that he should speak in the evening. GV was very happy and thanking Swami, he took namaskar. Swami then moved down via the lift. The bhajans had been going on and all were waiting for darshan. At the entrance of the building, there was another couple. I do not know the names of these people but a chance has been institutionalized at the entrance of the International Centre. Daily a couple stand there and offer rose and pranaams to Swami. The 'Institutionalized chance' at the entrance of the building... Swami then moved out. Swami was dressed in a new shiny robe. It was the saffron variety of the golden one He had worn for the 8. I saw Appa in the fifth line or so and it was understandable that today being Sunday, the crowds were larger than other days. When Swami moved to the stage, St asked Swami whether He would like to go down along the aisle so that the devotees could see Him from close. Swami agreed and instantly, there was joy. Everyone sensed that Swami was moving down. Coming down the ramp from the gents’ side, He began to move through the central aisle. People were very thrilled and all the while, I kept taking pictures. The devotees were thrilled when He chose to move down among them.. Once the path ended with a step, I indicated to St that the chair could go no further. Swami turned back and retraced His path. It was such a wonderful sight as people slaked their thirst for His darshan. Returning to the stage, Swami sat for a few more bhajans. I used the D2. 00 and coupling it with my 4. Soon, Swami beckoned for Aarthi. Prasadam was blessed for distribution after which Swami moved back into the building via the ramp. We were ushered in via the auditorium to the lunch hall. I took a picture of the luncheon plate so that it could be recorded for posterity to see as to what we were being treated to. Swami called Mr. Cheema and asked him when should He visit his home. Mr. Cheema said that on 1. Baisakhi, a festival day, and it would be a good day to visit. St told Swami that it was a festival day for the Punjabis on the 1. Swami told us to take our seats and then after a short while, told us to begin the prayer. That being done, the lunch session went on silently. All of us noticed that the food had been considerably spiced up. CG was in tears and he seemed a bit unhappy with Swami asking for more spice it! I don't mind taking a detour to narrate that story which is actual a poet's imagination - Lord Rama once saw that a frog had been pierced when He placed His bow on the ground. Why did you not cry out when in pain?! I call out - Rama, Rama. But today, when you have placed the bow on me, whom shall I call out to?! As we were finishing with our food, Swami said, “Ah! Today the food was good. It had nice salt and spice.” SV sir and GV sir agreed. MAK said that today finally the food was a thrill to the palate and again there was laughter all around. Swami began to speak about Justice Bhagawati. I said I cannot come there.” Since AIP and SV sir could not hear that, they went close to Swami and then said that his daughter’s home was below and Swami could easily go there. We got the hint that Swami wanted to make a visit to the home of this stalwart devotee. The topic then shifted to the evening programme. Swami asked SV sir how long he would be speaking. He said 1. 2 minutes and then the same question was put to GV sir. GV sir said that together, he and SV sir would take 3. I thought. Then AIP said that at the end, the boys could sing the composition Aha Raha tava. We all were expecting that it would be filled with MPs and MLAs and other influential people and thus the elders were making the suggestions. When living all the while in the physical proximity, it becomes tough to remember always that it is God’s presence that we are in!)Swami then said out to one of the boys. A went to Swami and Swami called for his singing partner too and so PS too went to Swami. A asked Swami whether they needed to be ready with songs for today and Swami said that there was no need for it. Swami then asked Rb who his partner was. Ls stood up and Swami nodded. Swami told the elders to go wash their hands. We continued to sit on. Now another interesting thing happened. Whatever the Lord does is for the ultimate good. Knowing that much is enough! Swami called out for Ls and asked him whether he had buttermilk. Ls did not hear for the first two times but even after he came to know what Swami had asked, his response was only a hesitant nod. It was much later we came to know that he had decided against drinking buttermilk fearing that it might trouble his throat and melodious voice. But he also said that every time he refused at home, his mother would force feed some buttermilk to him. And here was Swami doing the same. The Kiwi fruit was there again but the white portions were cut and the green portions with less seeds had been presented. Swami again called and asked AIP what the fruit was. He said, “Swami its called Kiwi.” Swami then suddenly seemed to remember, “Ah! Purugulu! St even took up a piece on the fork and gave Him but He just did not taste it. Then he went out leaving the fruits. Swami called B sir and asked him about the fruits. Sir also tried to tell Swami and gave Him a piece. Swami told him, “You eat it if you want!” and gave him one piece. Sir ate it joyfully and radiated a smile. Swami told us to wash our hands and leave. We did so. Returning to our rooms, we slept. I slept like someone drugged. It was blissful and I woke at 3: 2. We have to hurry! Swami is waiting for us.”Getting ready quickly, we rushed to the adjacent building. Knowing that we would be visiting auditoriums, we wore our slippers. A few of us barely had reached outside the dining hall when D came and told us to go in as Swami was waiting! We hurriedly went in and I sat in the second chair facing Swami. A cup cake and a sweet had been placed in our plates. As Swami told us to sit, He asked me what it was in the plate. I told that it was a “Cake, cup cake.” (Like some . He thought that I was offering it to Him to eat and like a child turned His face away saying, “I don’t want to even look at that item!” I smiled to myself and returned to my place. Swami then asked SK, “Did you come by plane or by walk?” He replied, “Swami the building is only adjacent. We came in walking.” Swami then asked, “How will you go to Simla? Go by plane..” There had been no confirmation about the Simla trip and these were the first confirmatory words. We were all happy to hear these words but then we just kept silent.... Arrival in the evening....
